喜 means happy in Chinese. It always stands for marriage and appears frequently at weddings. But in rural areas of China, some people have an unusual wedding ceremony called a ghost marriage. They believe if someone has passed away unmarried, they won't be happy in the afterlife. Therefore, they will find anyways to set up a ghost marriage including murdering or kidnapping a living person to wed a deceased one.

This typographic campaign uses the vanishing print technique to represent ghosts and a hidden story. It aims to raise awareness of the phenomenon of ghost marriages in Asia. Under sunlight, the vanishing text will become visible to the viewer and will reveal the whole story.

Where there is light, there is shadow. All crimes will be revealed under the sun and lights shall shine on all of us, it is our human right.
